Artist Call – India Day 2020

Panorama India is celebrating a unique virtual India Day 2020 event on August 15th & 16th.

We are now accepting Artists via video entries for our first-ever digital event.

The video you submit will be a final product that will be part of our segment (if chosen) for India Day.

Please provide the following and note the Guidelines:

  1. 3-to-5-minute video of your performance. The duration of the performance should not exceed beyond 5 mins.
  2. 30-sec promo/teaser for promotions on social media.
  3. A high-resolution picture (individual/group) for promotions on social media.
  4. Copyright permission. Download from here. Sign and include in the package. (Link here)
  5. Group/ Individual name, organization name, No. of participants, type of performance, State being represented.
  6. Active links to your social media handles – Facebook Profile, Facebook Page, Instagram.
  7. Classical/Folk or Cultural dance /singing/ instrumental performances will be given priority over Bollywood dance forms. 
  8. 10-25 word introduction of the performance.
  9. All videos must be shot Horizontal 1920 X 1080. We will not accept any vertical videos.
  10. Videos should be in high resolution and should be in MP4 or MOV formats.
  11. Please name your files as {YourName_OrgName_DanceForm_Duration.mp4}
  12. Final deadline to submit: Sunday, July 19th
  13. We have limited spots. We will consider submissions on a first come first serve basis.
  14. Please send all of the above using a single email / WeTransfer link. We will gather info sent in multiple emails.
  15. Shortlisted performances will be contacted via email. We may ask you to reshoot the video if there is an issue.
  16. Any performance that does not meet the above criteria will not qualify for the Artist submission
  17. Not more than 10 people to be present in the video at a given time. For all group performances, please adhere to mask, social distancing and applicable rules according to your city’s mandated bylaws while shooting. 
  18. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure that the content is appropriate to be shown on our social media channels. The content in its entirety must be created by you and should not be a copy of someone else’s work. Please choose songs that do not have a copyright issue in the North American continent (please research accordingly).
